ONLY POEMS is always open for many different types of general submission categories and you can view all of them here.
Our most popular category is the Poet of the Week. As you know, we publish one poet every week (outside of when we're on break) and feature 5-10 new poems alongside an extensive interview. We also promote our poets all over our social media and via our newsletters. And, we pay $77 upon publication.
Regular submissions in this category are only open twice a year for two weeks a time, once in the winter and once in the summer. For you, however, our members, there is no such restriction. You can submit for free through our special member portal here and your submission will bypass readers and be read directly by our editors.
Please note that submitting via the member portal in no way guarantees an acceptance or even a special rejection. Poetry isn't a meritocracy. What we can promise is that we'll read your work with the same care as we read everyone's else, but also respond much faster (within 3 months).
